Along the Route
The Ship - Reedham
The Ship Reedham are delighted to be hosting the first stop on the 75 and 100 mile Tour de Broads routes and are really looking forward to seeing the cyclists as they come through our village. Peter Clutten, The Ship's Proprietor, says "As a pub on the Broads we are a great location for cyclists to visit and welcome them into our pub and beer garden. To support The Tour de Broads is a great event for us and we are setting up a snack station and water station for the day. We are also making the day an all round event for spectators, cyclists and our locals by having a mini beer and music event taking place in the afternoon with 'The Rum Dogs' and 'The Humpty Dumpty Brewery', a Facebook competition to get people out on their bikes to the pub in the afternoon, a mini village treasure hunt, cycling quizzes and a timed cycle competition. All of these we help raise money for Macmillan, one of Tour de Broads charities". The pub offers a great view point for any spectators on the day and serves drinks all day from midday and food lunchtimes 12 - 2:30pm and evenings 6:30pm - 9:30pm.
